Our business's story is built on good Texas BBQ, the love and support of our community, and our family's commitment to doing right by both. We started out as a 12-seat restaurant in 1973, and shortly after expanding, our building burned to the ground. That's when our neighborhood came together to help us rebuild, and we've been going strong ever since. Now, we've got plenty of space and plenty of pecan-smoked BBQ to go around. Whether it's giving back to local schools, or catering a family get-together, it's an honor to serve the food we love to the community that loves us back.

On the way out of the restaurant today, a lady stops and tells Steve, "You owe my mother royalties retroactive back to the 50's." Steve looked a little puzzled. She smiled and went on to tell him that she hadn't had potato salad fixed that way since her mother's recipe from when she was growing up. The lady and Steve went on for about 5 minutes and talked about how much each of them didn't really like celery chunks, so that's why Steve chops his up so finely. We were certainly glad that we were able to bring a smile to this lady's face and really appreciated her taking the time to compliment our food. Feel free to stop by and give our potato salad a try. By the way, we have lots of Bar-B-Q and other things to go with it!
